Compassion made visible

Matthew 25

A ministry shaped by Jesus’ call to see people, meet practical needs, and serve every person with dignity and love.

Faith that becomes visible

When we see a need, we see an opportunity to serve Jesus.

Matthew 25 is not simply a list of good deeds. It is a picture of believers recognizing the worth of every person and responding with the compassion of Christ.

Jesus speaks of people who are hungry, thirsty, overlooked, without clothing, sick, or imprisoned. Their needs are different, but His call is consistent: do not pass them by. See them. Welcome them. Care for them. Serve them.

Matthew 25 Ministry exists to help Greater Life put that truth into action. We want to notice the needs God places in front of us, meet practical needs with dignity, and make the love of Jesus visible in our community.

MATTHEW 25:35 to 36 · KJV
“For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me.”

Compassion already in motion

The story has already begun.

These outreaches show the heart of Matthew 25, but they are not the boundaries of the ministry. We will continue listening, praying, and responding as new needs arise.

01
Supporting local families

Back-to-School Bash

We welcomed families from the community and placed backpacks into the hands of children preparing for a new school year. A practical gift became a reminder that their church community sees them, cares about them, and wants them to begin the year encouraged.

02
Serving our neighbors

Salvation Army Outreach

We served neighbors experiencing homelessness through the Salvation Army, offering our time and presence with dignity and compassion. The goal was not merely to complete a project, but to honor people made in the image of God.

How we serve

Compassion with purpose.

01

See the person

Look beyond the need and recognize someone deeply loved by God.

02

Meet the need

Respond in practical ways that bring meaningful help and encouragement.

03

Serve with dignity

Listen, respect, and never reduce a person to their circumstances.

04

Point to Christ

Let every act of compassion reflect the hope and love found in Jesus.

THE WORDS THAT SHAPE US
“Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

MATTHEW 25:40 · KJV

The next chapter

There is always another person to see and another opportunity to serve.

Future outreach may take many forms, supporting families, caring for people without stable housing, responding during seasons of crisis, visiting those who feel forgotten, or meeting needs we have not encountered yet.

What will remain the same is the heart behind it: practical compassion, personal dignity, and the love of Christ.
