Dr. Tim Blue was raised at Independent Bible Baptist Church, Now Greater Life Baptist Church, under his uncle, Pastor Dr. Jason Coley. (Founder of I.B.B.C)  Early in Pastor Blue’s teens he began to rebel against God, Family and the Church.  On October 1, 1995 at the age of 21, after years of a life involving drugs and alcohol, Pastor Blue accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. On July 6th, 1997, God called Pastor Blue to preach the Gospel. He began preaching and working with the youth of IBBC. In 1999 God put Pastor Blue on the road with his family in Evangelism with the Highways & Hedges Tent ministry, traveling around America holding tent revivals, help establish churches and preaching in juvenile detention Ministries. In 2007 Pastor Blue came off the evangelistic circuit and become Assistant to Dr. Jason Coley.  On January 20th, 2013, after the going home of Dr. Coley, Pastor Blue was unanimously voted as Pastor of Greater Life Baptist Church.  Pastor Blue has been married to his wife, Laura, for 30 years. They have 4 children with 2 in heaven, and 4 grandchildren with 2 in heaven.
